Amrin Mann (“TakeoverSZN”) and the NBA 2K Financial Integrity Case at 1v1Me

Amrin Mann, known on 1v1Me as “TakeoverSZN,” participated in the NBA 2K MyPLAYER League prior to its permanent shutdown. For context on the broader enforcement action and league closure, see our main announcement: https://www.1v1me.com/blog/nba-2k-league-shutdown

Following an internal integrity review, 1v1Me determined that Amrin Mann engaged in coordinated conduct involving intentional match losses connected to staking activity, which violated platform rules and resulted in financial harm to users.

What the Investigation Found

Based on the evidence reviewed, 1v1Me found that Amrin Mann:

  • Intentionally lost matches in coordination with others
  • Participated in activity designed to influence match outcomes
  • Contributed to situations where users lost money as a result of manipulated outcomes

This activity represented a serious financial integrity violation within a real-money staking environment.

Enforcement Action

As a result of these findings:

  • Amrin Mann was removed from participation on 1v1Me
  • Impacted users were refunded
  • His conduct was a contributing factor in the permanent shutdown of the NBA 2K MyPLAYER League

These findings reflect 1v1Me’s internal determinations and enforcement actions, based solely on activity observed on the platform.
