Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3: New Vehicles, Quests, and More CD Projekt Red introduces exciting additions to Night City

đźš— New Vehicles and Unlockable Quests

Update 2.3 introduces four new vehicles, each tied to specific side missions:

  • Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru: Unlocked through a new side job after completing "The Hunt" and "The Beast In Me." An additional side job unlocks the CrystalCoat™ feature for it.
  • Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred": Obtained by completing "The Beast in Me: Badlands," "The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo," "Transmission," and "Search and Destroy."
  • Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa: Available after purchasing one Yaiba vehicle, buying at least three vehicles through AUTOFIXER, and completing "Reported Crime: You Play with Fire." If missed, it can later be purchased through AUTOFIXER.
  • Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila: Directly purchasable via AUTOFIXER.

These additions provide players with more options for traversing Night City and engaging in thrilling vehicular pursuits.

🛣️ AutoDrive and Delamain Taxi Service

A standout feature in this update is the introduction of AutoDrive, allowing players to let their vehicles drive autonomously to selected destinations. To activate AutoDrive, simply hold the designated button (H on PC or the left stick on consoles) while on a road. The system offers two modes: direct travel to a set point or a leisurely cruise through Night City. Note that AutoDrive is disabled during combat or when the vehicle is heavily damaged.

Additionally, the Delamain Taxi Service becomes available after completing the "Don't Lose Your Mind" job. Players can call a Delamain cab from the vehicle menu, select their destination, and enjoy a ride without the need to drive themselves.

📸 Enhanced Photo Mode

Update 2.3 brings significant improvements to the game's Photo Mode:

  • Time of Day and Weather Customization: Players can now adjust the time of day and weather conditions to capture the perfect shot.
  • Expanded NPC Options: 27 new NPCs have been added, many with alternate outfits, providing more variety for photo opportunities.
  • New Stickers and Frames: Additional stickers and frames are now available to personalize your snapshots.

These enhancements offer players more creative freedom in documenting their adventures in Night City.

đź’» Technical Upgrades

The update also includes several technical improvements:

  • AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS 2.0: Support for these technologies enhances visual fidelity and performance on compatible hardware.
  • HDR10+ and VRR Support: Consoles now benefit from improved visual quality and smoother gameplay experiences.
  • Mac Compatibility: Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on Mac computers with Apple Silicon, allowing a broader audience to experience the game.

Bottom Line:
Cyberpunk 2077's Update 2.3 enriches the game with new vehicles, quests, and technical enhancements, offering players more ways to explore and enjoy Night City. Whether you're a seasoned Netrunner or a newcomer, these additions provide fresh experiences and improvements to the game.
