Street Fighter 6 Update 1.000.024/1.24 Delivers Key C. Viper Fixes and Crash Resolutions Capcom rolls out a new patch targeting C. Viper bugs, crash problems, and online training issues in Street Fighter 6
Capcom has dropped a new Street Fighter 6 update, rolling out on consoles as version 1.000.024 / 1.24. This patch focuses primarily on bug fixes for C. Viper, along with key crash resolutions affecting online training and Super Art interactions.
While the update smooths out several major problems, Capcom has also confirmed new issues tied to C. Viper’s settings, with a follow-up patch already in the works.
Here’s everything included in the update.
⚙️ Crash Fixes & Stability Improvements
Capcom addressed two crash scenarios that were affecting online play and training:
Simultaneous Super Art Crash
- Fixed a crash that occurred when both players performed certain Super Arts at the same time.
- Capcom notes that this issue had previously been fixed, but resurfaced — this update applies an additional correction.
Online Training Crash (C. Viper)
- Fixed a crash triggered when two players entered online training and a C. Viper player selected Character-Specific Settings from the training menu.
Capcom also warns of a newly discovered problem tied to C. Viper’s settings:
⚠️ Known Issue — Limit Decoupler Setting
Changing Viper’s Limit Decoupler to “Infinite” under Character-Specific Settings currently causes:
- Abnormal character behavior
- Irregular Super Art gauge behavior
- Higher chance of network errors when continuing online training
Players are advised not to use this setting until a future patch resolves the issue.
🐍 C. Viper Bug Fixes
This update also includes targeted fixes for two of C. Viper's combat issues:
-
Aerial Burning Kick Input Correction Fixed an issue where using Modern Controls with manual inputs would trigger a normal Aerial Burning Kick instead of an Overdrive version, even when two attack buttons were pressed simultaneously.
-
Super Art 1 Timer Bug Fixed an issue where the SA1 timer disappeared after performing a High Jump Cancel, even when Viper was not in Burnout.
These corrections should make her moveset more consistent in both training and competitive play.
🔥 Final Thoughts
Street Fighter 6’s latest patch shores up several frustrating bugs for C. Viper players and improves overall stability in online training and Super Art interactions. With more fixes already scheduled — especially for Viper’s Limit Decoupler — expect another update soon.
Until then, avoid the problematic settings and keep an eye out for the next round of improvements.
