RICOCHET Anti-Cheat Raises the Standard Again in Call of Duty Season 1 Stronger detection tools, stricter security requirements, and new anti-boosting systems are redefining fair play in Warzone and Black Ops 7.
RICOCHET Anti-Cheat Upgrades Arrive in Season 01
Call of Duty Season 01 launches with a stronger and more advanced iteration of RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, now fully integrated across both Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The team has been monitoring matches since launch, refining detection systems, and reinforcing the security measures that protect competitive integrity.
Season 01’s update focuses on one goal: cleaner matches, faster detections, and a more secure experience for every player.
🛡️ TPM 2.0 & Secure Boot Now Required for Warzone
To maintain a trusted environment, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are now mandatory for all PC players in Call of Duty: Warzone, mirroring the requirements introduced with Black Ops 7.
These security settings eliminate major exploit entry points by ensuring each PC boots in a verified, trusted state.
What these features do:
- Secure Boot — Confirms your system loads only trusted software at startup.
- TPM 2.0 — Validates internal components essential to RICOCHET’s protection methods.
- Remote Attestation — Confirms security settings through external trusted servers, stopping cheaters from spoofing system information.
While some players may need to adjust BIOS settings, enabling these features helps defend the integrity of every match.
Coming Soon: Secure Attestation Wizard
Later in the season, a new Secure Attestation Wizard will guide PC users through verifying and configuring their system security. It will provide fast confirmation that your setup meets all anti-cheat requirements with simple, step-by-step instructions.
🎮 Upgraded Boosting Detections
Boosting has evolved into one of the most disruptive forms of cheating—allowing players to artificially unlock gear, level accounts, and gain unearned advantages.
Season 01 introduces significantly upgraded detection systems designed to identify and penalize:
- Boosted accounts
- Accounts used to provide boosting or botting services
Since unlock-all exploits were shut down, cheaters have turned to paid boosting networks. These improvements dismantle that ecosystem by targeting both the buyers and the providers behind it.
Boosting undermines fair progression, and RICOCHET’s enhanced systems ensure legitimate effort is rewarded.
🔨 Cracking Down on Cheat Vendors & Reseller Networks
The fight against cheating isn’t limited to in-game enforcement. There is an extensive underground market of cheat developers, sellers, and resellers—and RICOCHET has spent the past year striking directly at those networks.
Over the last year, #TeamRICOCHET has:
- Shut down 50+ cheat providers
- Disrupted almost 300 reseller operations through ban waves and legal action
By removing distribution channels and increasing legal pressure, RICOCHET continues to make it increasingly difficult for cheat vendors to operate across Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
🧭 Final Thoughts
Season 01 marks a major leap forward for Call of Duty’s anti-cheat technology. With stronger system requirements, smarter detection tools, and ongoing action against cheat networks, RICOCHET is setting a higher industry standard for fair play.
As the season unfolds, players can expect continued updates, faster responses, and deeper transparency from the RICOCHET team.
