Street Fighter 6 Confirms C. Viper Release Date at Tokyo Game Show 2025 Capcom unveils C. Viper’s gameplay, costumes, and collaborations while locking in her October launch

Capcom has finally confirmed when C. Viper will make her debut in Street Fighter 6. During its Tokyo Game Show 2025 presentation, the studio revealed her official launch date, a gameplay showcase, and even a few surprises for fans of the long-running fighting series.

  • Release Date: October 15, 2025
  • Unlock Options:
    • Free for Year 3 Ultimate or Character Pass owners
    • Purchasable individually with Fighter Coins

Her addition follows the recent arrival of Sagat and continues Capcom’s trend of bringing back beloved legacy fighters.


🎮 Gameplay and Moveset

The new 2-minute trailer highlighted a mix of C. Viper’s classic moves and gadget-powered flair:

  • Burning Kick 🔥 – enhanced with gadget-based flames
  • Seismic Hammer ⚡ – now featuring shock effects
  • High Heels Boost 👠 – granting her powerful high jumps

Capcom also confirmed her Street Fighter 4 costume will be available, giving longtime fans a nostalgic throwback.


👥 More DLC Characters Coming

While Viper launches this fall, the next wave of DLC fighters, Alex and Ingrid, are scheduled for Winter 2025 and Spring 2026 respectively.


🤖 New Content Arriving October 15

C. Viper isn’t the only update coming next month. Capcom also announced:

  • Mech Zangie-F: Zangief’s new Outfit 4, inspired by a mech variant seen in past titles.
  • Music Collaboration: A special partnership with Cavalera Conspiracy, celebrating Zangief’s outfit release.
  • Crossover Event: A tie-in with the classic visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry (30th anniversary).
    • Special scenario in World Tour Mode

    • Unlockable ghostly blue skins inspired by the VN’s characters
